Molly Skedel

Molly Skedel has over 12 years of work experience in the education field. Molly most recently worked as the Principal at Pittsburgh Public Schools since September 2017. Prior to that, they held various roles including Director of Special Education at Woodland Hills School District from August 2016 to September 2017, Assistant Principal at Highlands School District from December 2014 to August 2016, and Supervisor of Special Education at Westmoreland Intermediate Unit from July 2013 to December 2014. Molly also worked as a Special Education Teacher at Armstrong School District from August 2010 to August 2013 and at Upper Dublin School District from August 2005 to August 2010. During their time at Upper Dublin, they successfully started their first Emotional Support Classroom and received their Principal Certification. Molly has a strong background in special education and has experience in various leadership roles.

Molly Skedel has a Master of Education degree from Arcadia University, with a focus on Reading Specialist Certification. Molly also obtained a Principal Certification K-12 through the Educational Leadership for Aspiring Principals program at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Molly has completed a Supervisory of Special Education Certification at the University of Pittsburgh.
