Stephen Connell

Stephen Connell has a diverse work experience in the field of facilities management and architecture. Stephen started their career as a Designer at Maynes Associates Architects in 1995 and remained in this role until 2008. Stephen then joined Apostolou Associates as an Architectural Project Manager from June 2008 to December 2015. In 2016, they joined Pittsburgh Public Schools as a Project Manager/Facilities, where they worked until October 2018. Stephen returned to Pittsburgh Public Schools in October 2019 as the Assistant Director of Facilities, Design, and Planning. Stephen was promoted to the role of Director of Facilities in August 2020.

Stephen Connell received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University in 1993. Prior to that, they attended Lehigh University from 1987 to 1989 with a focus on Business and Architecture. In 1986, they briefly studied International Relations and Art at Franklin College Switzerland. Additionally, during the same period, Stephen obtained a Certification in International Studies from Franklin University Switzerland.
