Daniel Flanagan has extensive experience in occupational health and safety, currently serving as the Manager of Occupational Health and Safety at the Port Authority of Allegheny County since May 1997, where responsibilities include the development and evaluation of industrial and occupational health goals for rail and bus operations and construction activities. Concurrently, Daniel also holds the position of Manager of Safety & Health at Pittsburgh Regional Transit, demonstrating a commitment to safety in public transit. Prior to these roles, Daniel worked as an Environmental Health Specialist at the Allegheny County Health Department from 1989 to 1997. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State University.
