Carianne Fooij is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in ceramics and education. Since January 2011, Carianne has been the owner and keramist at Carianne Fooij Keramiek, specializing in designing modern art and design objects, as well as promotional ceramics. In addition to this creative venture, Carianne has taught maatschappijleer at Pius X-College since August 2008, serving as a mentor and section chair for upper-level students. Carianne was also involved as a stadslandbouwer and kartrekker in the Hool in the Ground project from 2014 to 2015, which successfully established mini vegetable gardens in the community. Previous experience includes roles as a communication manager at the Gemeentelijk Havenbedrijf Rotterdam and a communication medewerker at Oasis Decision Support Systems. Carianne holds a higher degree in ceramics from the Academie voor de Schone Kunsten and a master’s degree in history from Utrecht University, as well as a degree in Algemene letteren from Gymnasium Bernrode.
