Carissa Young

Carissa Young has extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector, with their most recent role being a Nonprofit Account Executive at Pivot starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Open School from 2017 to 2021, where they held the positions of Associate Director of Development and Marketing, and Development Associate. Before that, they worked at William Temple House, starting in 2015, as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, and then as a Development and Marketing Associate. Additionally, Carissa has prior experience as a Nonprofit Management Intern at Saturday Academy, a Writing Assistant at the University of Portland, an Exhibition Intern at the Oregon Jewish Museum, and a Loan Servicing/Development Intern at Community Reinvestment Fund starting in 2008.

Carissa Young attended Academy of Holy Angels for their high school education and obtained their high school degree. Following that, they went on to study at the University of Portland. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, majoring in History and Sociology.
