Jacob Ness

Jacob Ness is a Commercial Agronomy Analyst at Pivot Bio since January 2022, where improvements in communication between agronomists and developers have been emphasized, alongside the development of user interfaces for agricultural data interactions. Previous experience includes roles as Agronomic Data Analyst at IN10T Inc., where spatial agronomic data was processed, and a soil fertility trial was implemented, and as a Geospatial Data Analyst for Soil Health Partnership, focused on research data automation and analysis. Additionally, Jacob served as Field Agronomist for the National Corn Growers Association, a Certified Crop Specialist at GROWMARK, Inc., and gained experience in precision agriculture and crop research through multiple positions, including at Cargill and Monsanto. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Plant Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from South Dakota State University.
