Chad Schubert

Senior Director, People & Culture at Pivot Energy

Chad Schubert is the current Senior Director of People & Culture at Pivot Energy. Prior to their current position, Chad served as the Development Director for Mulunda Miaka Orphanage from December 2011 to June 2013. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning, developing an updated accounting system, establishing and managing the website, and networking with supporters from around the world. Chad also worked with the Executive Director to develop sustainable revenue generating projects to provide local employment and set MMO on the path to sustainability. In addition, they led the planning and implementation of local infrastructure, including solar and wind applications for power and a water filtration system capable of supplying the entire orphanage with clean water.

From September 2010 to November 2011, Chad served as the Executive Director for The Shadeland Project. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, including program development, fundraising, marketing, and operations. Under their leadership, The Shadeland Project experienced significant growth, more than doubling its budget and increasing its staff from 3 to 10 people.

Chad Schubert has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business - Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management Major with a Concentration in Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Theirtory from Anderson University. Chad is also certified from the NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners as a NABCEP Board Certified PV Technical Sales Professional.
