Joe Sarlo

Director, Project Management at Pivot Energy

Joe Sarlo has been working in the energy industry for over 10 years. Joe started out as an Energy Systems Engineering Project at PPL Corporation. Joe then transitioned into a PV System Production Analyst at Martifer Solar USA. In this role, they were responsible for calculating potential solar output for a given site and analyzing utility bills to determine project feasibility. Joe was promoted to Hertz Corp. account representative where they managed a portfolio of potential projects across the country. In 2013, they became the Operations Manager at RGS Energy where they were responsible for taking projects from initial contract agreement to project close out. Joe transitioned into a national role with the creation and management of their authorized integrator program. In 2016, they became the Director of Project Management at Pivot Energy.

Joe Sarlo completed their Masters of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from Lehigh University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering with a Materials Science minor also from Lehigh University. Joe Sarlo began their educational career at The Academy of Allied Health and Science where they completed their High School Degree. Joe also has a certification from the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) in OSHA 30.

Their manager is Garrett Peterson, SVP, Project Development. They work with Josie Shrutz - Director, Project Engineering & Analysis, Luke Rickard - Director, Project Analysis & Development, and Gordon Woodcock - Director, Project Development.
