Maulik Patel

Maulik Patel is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the VP of Asset Management at Pivot Energy since December 2024. Prior roles include Director of Technology and Director of Asset Management at New Columbia Solar from January 2020 to October 2024, and Co-Founder of Prodigal Sun Solar, where responsibilities included leading product development, marketing, and sales. Patel also held a position in Asset Management at Sunnova Energy Corp., successfully raising approximately $1 billion in capital. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Fannie Mae, where a Tableau proof of concept was deployed to foster a data-driven culture. Additionally, Patel founded a non-profit from January 2012 to December 2015, collaborating with public institutions and corporations to address environmental and public health issues. Patel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland.
