Peter Rugg

Peter Rugg has worked in the solar energy industry for over six years. Peter started as a Regional Sales Manager at Tesla in October 2015 and was with the company for just over two years when they acquired SolarCity. As Marketing Director & Senior Commercial Project Developer at Solar Gain, they were responsible for managing a team of 8 Energy Consultants and increasing profits. In November 2018, they left Solar Gain to join Pivot Energy as Director of Business Development.

Peter Rugg has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Sport Management from Nichols College, and a Sustainability Studies degree from Harvard Extension School. Peter also has a High School Diploma from the New York Military Academy.

They work with Erik Bruner - Director, Business Development, Suparna Kadam - Senior Director, Business Development, and Matt Brenn - Director, Business Development. Peter Rugg reports to Mat Elmore, SVP, Business Development.
