Richard Gilker

Richard Gilker is the VP of Engineering at Pivot Energy. Richard has over 10 years of experience in the solar industry, including co-founding SGC Power, which was acquired by Pivot Energy. Richard has also worked as an engineer at New West Technologies and Standard Solar. In 2008, they were a member of the Virginia Tech Solar Decathlon team.

Richard Gilker has an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Richard is also certified from NABCEP in NABCEP PV Installer Certification.
