Laura Phelps is an experienced professional with a strong background in education and workforce development. Currently serving as an Academic and Employment Coach at Silicon Valley Children's Fund & TeenForce since February 2017, Laura focuses on supporting foster youth in achieving educational and employment goals. Prior experience includes roles as Training and Development Manager and Employee Relations Coordinator at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, where program administration and employee engagement initiatives were key responsibilities. Laura began their career as a Journalism and Math Instructor at Lemoore Union High School, following the completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism - Public Relations from California State University, Fresno.
