Mecal McDade

Mecal McDade is the COO at Pivotal Analytics. Mecal has over 7 years of experience in leading agile teams and organizations focused on delivering customer-centric solutions at a national scale. Mecal has a proven track record in driving innovation and unifying partners to common goals, while anchoring to an end-to-end omnichannel view.

McDade began their career at PNC in March 2015 as the Experience Director for the Retail National Expansion team. In this role, they were responsible for driving customer-centric design solutions that leveraged technical capabilities and created marketplace differentiation. Under their leadership, the team delivered Low Cash Mode, an overdraft experience that reduced customer fee incidents by more than half; Self-Service Wire enablement; user authentication improvements; Dispute process enhancements; and various proprietary conceptual designs for products and experiences across channels including desktop, mobile, ATM, customer service centers, and physical branch locations.

In addition to their work with the Retail National Expansion team, McDade also led a core technology modernization effort that invoked new architecture and tools to improve speed to market, channel interactions, and real-time data availability. The migration to the new platform involved porting experiences/functions, designing national product sets, and developing a customer migration strategy that addressed platform coexistence.

McDade’s success in leading these initiatives at PNC led to their promotion to COO at Pivotal Analytics in January 2022. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing all operations and ensuring that the company meets its strategic objectives.

Mecal McDade received their Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Mecal attended Greensburg Central Catholic High School for their high school education.
