Poorvesh Sheth

Poorvesh Sheth has over 29 years of experience in the accounting and finance field. Poorvesh began their career in 1992 as a Cost Accountant at AMCC. In 1996, they joined L-3 Communications as a Division Controller, where they supervised a team of 11 and was consistently ranked in the top 10% of all divisions of the Corporation in achievement of budget goals and financial metrics. In 2006, Poorvesh moved to SGIS as Controller/CFO, supervising a team of 41 and revising and restating prior financial statements so that Financials were audited for the first time ever, and with no exceptions. In 2008, they returned to L-3 Communications as Special Assistant to the CFO, where they re-organized operation into a new parent division. In 2009, Poorvesh joined General Dynamics Global Imaging Technologies, Inc. as Director of Finance, supervising a team of 5 and completing the implementation of IFS ERP system. In 2014, Poorvesh moved to Cobham Defense Electronics as Controller, supervising a team of 18 and leading Accounting & Finance to re-engineer processes. In 2015, they joined Sandel Avionics as Acting CFO, supervising a team of 5 and leading Accounting, I/T and HR team during challenging introduction of new product. In 2016, Poorvesh joined TECT Aerospace as PNW Controller. In 2020, they moved to Cadence Aerospace as Controller. Currently, Poorvesh is employed at Pivotal Commware\u00ae as Controller.

Poorvesh Sheth attended Mira Mesa High School from 1984 to 1988. Poorvesh then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business - Finance from San Diego State University from 1988 to 1992. After that, they obtained an MBA from the University of San Diego from 1994 to 1998. In June 1994, they also obtained a Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accounting.
