Pete Johnson

Pete Johnson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Pete started their career as an Associate at OCA Ventures in 2002, where they assisted in due diligence and deal sourcing. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as the Director of Worldwide Marketing at Xpedion Design Systems. Subsequently, Pete served as the EVP of Business Development & Marketing at Atalgo, where they oversaw product strategy and managed customer engagements. In 2006, they joined Sonoplot as a Director and later founded 5Elements, Inc. in 2008, where they served as the Founder & President. In 2009, Pete became the Head of Product Marketing at Exar Corporation, responsible for the successful launch and growth of the PowerXR product line. Pete co-founded Perceptual Labs in 2017 and FestBuddy in 2010 as well. Their most recent roles include being the VP of Strategic Business & Corporate Development at zSpace 3D since 2012 and the Co-Founder of Pivotal Healthcare since 2020.

Pete Johnson received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Pete then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2001 to 2003.
