Gavin Carothers

Gavin Carothers has a diverse work experience in human resources, starting in 2000 as an Attractions Area Manager at Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Gavin later worked as a General Manager at The Putting Edge Corporation, overseeing HR functions and managing profit and loss responsibilities. Gavin also served as an HR Project Coordinator and a Human Resources Generalist in the same company. Gavin then joined Wild Water Kingdom as an HR Generalist, where they handled recruitment, training, and employee relations for seasonal positions. Gavin then transitioned to Pet Valu Canada Inc., where they held various roles, including Supervisor of Human Resources and Human Resources Consultant, supporting different departments within the head office. Currently, they are working at Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions as an HR Manager, and later on, they were promoted to the role of HR Director. Throughout their career, Gavin has gained experience in staff planning, training, employee relations, vendor management, and strategic projects. Gavin has also demonstrated strong skills in developing HR policies, conflict resolution, performance management, and coaching.

Gavin Carothers has a 3-Year Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from Centennial College. Gavin also holds a C.H.R.L. (Certified Human Resources Leader) Designation from the Human Resources Professional Association.
