Jiuyi Cheng

Jiuyi Cheng has held various software engineering roles since 1996. Jiuyi was a Software Development Engineer at Consilium, Inc. from 1996 to 1997. Jiuyi then moved to Sun Microsystems where they were a Software Systems Engineer from 1997 to 2003. In 2002, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Advanced Energy Industries. Jiuyi then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Symphony Systems from 2001 to 2002, Compuware Corp from 2000 to 2001, and Optimal Networks Corp from 1998 to 2000. Lastly, they were a Senior Software Engineer and then a Principal Software Engineer at Pivotal Systems from 2004 to present.

Jiuyi Cheng completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from East China Normal University between 1980 and 1984. Jiuyi then went on to obtain a Ph.D in Mathematics from Virginia Tech between 1989 and 1994. Finally, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University between 1995 and 1997.
