Junior IT Support Specialist

Pix4D are looking for a passionate Junior IT Support Specialist to work with our IT team based in Lausanne to procure, customize, and operate IT infrastructure for a medium-sized tech company operating internationally across six sites (Switzerland, Germany, Spain, USA, Japan, and Romania).

You will work collaboratively with the rest of the IT team to develop processes and solution architectures to support those processes. The role combines hands-on infrastructure engineering (network, workstation, and server capacity), workflow automation, and desktop support for our seven international offices.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding skills in network administration and technical desktop support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting desktop support incidents for the Lausanne office.
• Work collaboratively with our team of IT support and infrastructure engineering specialists to support a leading local software development company with an international profile.
• Support seniors in troubleshooting incidents.
• Improve and automate IT services to ensure the best quality of service within time and resource budgets.
• Management of IT software and hardware inventory.
• Small procurement projects to support IT operations.
• Work with external specialists as needed to support multi-site IT operations.
