Jakub Smolan (LION)

Jakub Smolan has a diverse range of work experience. Jakub began their career as a Site Manager at Avex Steel Products Ltd., where they were responsible for supervising a reclamation project and using their language skills for interpreting and issuing protocols. Jakub then worked as a Consultant in Foreign Trade at CzechTrade Österreich and as a Statist and Interpreter at thebigword. Jakub also gained experience as a CEEPUS Research Specialist at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, focusing on sustainable development and risk management research. Jakub later took on roles as a Metodik pro zahraničí at Národní pedagogický institut České republiky, analyzing and creating legislative materials, and as an International Relations Coordinator for Students at Univerzita Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně, providing support to outgoing students and serving as a translator and interpreter. Jakub has also held positions at Ttranslate.sk as a Business Development Manager, at Krajské asistenční centrum pomoci Ukrajině as a Koordinator, and at Armed.cz as an Arms & Military Equipment Dealer. Currently, they are working as a Business Development professional at Pixaera, a gaming start-up focused on transforming access to learning through immersive technology.

Jakub Smolan (LION) has a diverse education history. Jakub first attended Gymnázium Otrokovice from 2010 to 2014. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Ochrana Obyvatelstva from 2015 to 2018.

In 2019, Jakub Smolan expanded their knowledge by attending the Budapest University of Technology and Economics for a year, focusing on the field of Sustainable Development.

Subsequently, they returned to Tomas Bata University in Zlín to pursue a more advanced degree. From 2018 to 2021, they obtained a Magister Degree in Security of Society.

To further enhance their skillset, Jakub Smolan also pursued additional certifications. In November 2019, they completed the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge course at TAYLLORCOX.
