Josh West

Josh West is an accomplished Art Director and Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios, with a career spanning from March 2015 to the present. Notable projects include roles as Sets Art Director for "Inside Out 2" (2024) and contributions to films such as "Lightyear," "Turning Red," "Luca," and "Soul." Prior to Pixar, Josh West served as Modeling Supervisor at DreamWorks Animation from January 2002 to March 2015, overseeing projects like "Trolls" and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted," and worked as a modeler on several iconic titles including "Kung Fu Panda" and the "Shrek" series. Earlier in the career, Josh West gained experience as an animator at Blue Sky Studios on "Ice Age." Education includes a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design, earned between 1997 and 2001.
