Nicolle Castro

Nicolle Castro is an accomplished Lead Story Artist with nearly eight years of experience at Pixar Animation Studios. Castro has contributed to the creation of illustrations and character concept designs for unannounced films while participating in brainstorming sessions with directors during development. Previous roles include storyboard artist for high-profile projects such as 'Toy Story 4,' 'Luca,' and 'Lightyear,' where Castro received mentorship from story supervisors. Additional experience includes self-employment showcasing original artwork at fan conventions, directing and storyboarding animated episodes for NHK, and assisting with animation for 'Pig: The Dam Keeper Poems.' Nicolle Castro holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation/Illustration, graduating Summa Cum Laude from San José State University, and participated in a prestigious Pixar story intensive program.
