David Stein

Dr. David Stein is the Board Chairman of PixCell Medical. David is currently focused on advising and investing in Start-up and growth companies as a founder, advisor, and Board Member. David is also currently a Director at Babson Diagnostics in Austin Texas. Until December 31, 2019, David was the Global Head of Strategy and the President of Molecular Diagnostics for Siemens Healthineers and was a key lead in the IPO of the company. Prior to this, David was the CEO of the Siemens Healthineers Point of Care Business and the Head of Strategy for the Diagnostics Division. David joined Siemens in 2001 and, through positions of increasing responsibility in product development, business operations, and portfolio strategy, has directed development and strategy for a number of successful products in the DX portfolio. Dr. Stein holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.
