Principal Engineer And Chief Innovator at PixCell Medical

Liron Shlomo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 1997, Liron worked as a Communication Technician in the Israeli Defense Force, where they gained experience in WAN technology and system management.

In 2003, Liron became a Youth Instructor at the Branko Weiss Institute, before joining Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2005, where they provided technical services.

In 2006, Liron became a Biomedical Engineer at Dune Medical Devices, working in the R&D department, production department, and clinical trial team.

The next role for Liron was at Seraffix in 2009, where they worked as an R&D engineer on the development of a tissue closure device using laser activation of protein.

Additionally, in 2009, Liron worked as an R&D Engineer at Enopace Biomedical, providing technical and pre-clinical services.

From 2001 to 2010, Liron worked as a Teacher of "Lasers" at Handesaim National School.

At Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Liron worked as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant, focusing on the production of small endomyocardial infarcts in rats and supporting academic instruction.

Most recently, Liron has been working at PixCell Medical Technologies since 2010. They started as an R&D Engineer, designing and testing automation systems in the field of viscoelastic live-cell focusing. They then transitioned into the role of Principal Engineer and Chief Innovator, leading the design and co-invention of the HemoScreen analysis device, a point of care diagnostic device for Complete Blood Count.

Liron Shlomo has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering which was obtained from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in the years 2001 to 2006. Liron then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution, which was achieved between 2008 and 2010. Lastly, Liron completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013.
