David Roy

David Roy has extensive experience in process engineering and operations management within the paper and pulp industry. Currently serving as Process Engineering Manager at Pixelle Specialty Solutions since November 2018, David previously held roles including Fiber Operations Manager and Fiberline Superintendent. From December 1987 to October 2018, David worked at Glatfelter, where responsibilities as Fiberline Superintendent included managing operations for two fiber lines, overseeing safety, budgeting, maintenance, and project execution. Additional roles at Glatfelter included Assistant Pulpmill Superintendent and Process Engineer, focusing on managing digester operations and improving environmental performance of pulp production. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine, completed in 1987, and is a graduate of St. Paul Catholic High School.
