Omer Segal

Omer Segal has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Omer is currently the Head of AI & Algo at Pixellot - AI-Automated Sports Production, where they lead three teams in using advanced Computer Vision and AI technologies to automate sports game production. Prior to this, they worked at Razor Labs as the Director of R&D and later as the Research and Development Group Lead. Omer also served as the Chief Technology Officer at LMY R&D and Playform, where they played a key role in developing innovative computer vision solutions. Omer has also worked at Mellanox Technologies as a Chip Design Engineer and as a Chip Design Student, where they were responsible for implementing and testing large-scale systems. Omer began their career in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, serving as a Military Intelligence officer.

Omer Segal pursued their education at Tel Aviv University. Omer first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they completed between 2011 and 2015. Later, they undertook a Master's degree in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Omer successfully obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in 2019 from Tel Aviv University.
