Pieter Jan Bleichrodt

Software Engineer at PixelPool

Pieter Jan Bleichrodt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Pieter Jan started their career in 1998 as a Freelance 3D Artist at 1000Huizen, where they worked on 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation for architecture and entertainment projects. In 2001, they joined Aerorider as a Designer, focusing on designing a self-supporting fiber-reinforced body for an electric-assisted recumbent bicycle.

From 2001 to 2006, Bleichrodt worked as an Art Director at Pixelpool. In 2007, they started their own business, 3Deek, specializing in 2D and 3D visualizations. With over 15 years of experience, they provided high-quality visualizations and digital paintings.

In 2014, they founded Zittel, a furniture company known for its colorful and handcrafted indoor and outdoor furniture. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Ontwerper (Designer) at Buich, an architectural and interior design firm, managing projects from concept to realization and liaising with stakeholders.

In 2017, Bleichrodt co-founded Zwaarweer, a 3D rendering company, to enhance their ability to deliver high-level work within deadlines. In 2019, they launched Scofo, a company specializing in architectural visualizations for early-stage designs and competitions. Through years of experience, Scofo provided comprehensive design consultation and collaboration with clients.

Currently, Bleichrodt is a Software Engineer at PixelPool since February 2022.

Pieter Jan Bleichrodt's education history is as follows:

Pieter Jan Bleichrodt attended Hanfortmann College from 1985 to 1991, where they obtained their VWO degree.

From 1991 to 1994, they studied at Delft University of Technology and earned a propedeuse degree in Civil Engineering.

Continuing their education at Delft University of Technology, Pieter Jan Bleichrodt completed a master's degree in Industrial and Product Design from 1994 to 2001.

In 2020, they enrolled in the LOI and pursued an HBO Back-end C# developer program, which they completed in 2021.

Starting in 2021, Pieter Jan Bleichrodt participated in the Omscholingstraject Make IT Work, focusing on Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Pieter Jan Bleichrodt obtained certifications to enhance their skills. In May 2020, they obtained the OMG Certified UML Professional 2 Foundation level Certification from OMG. Furthermore, in January 2021, they earned the Programming in C# Certification from Microsoft.
