Indra Laksono joined Pixelworks in August 2017 as President of Pixelworks Canada. Prior to joining Pixelworks, Mr. Laksono co-founded ViXS Systems, a fabless semiconductor company and served as Chief Technology Officer from 2001 until acquisition by Pixelworks in 2017. ViXS had design centers in Toronto, Austin Texas and Hong Kong. As CTO of ViXS, Mr. Laksono was responsible for all Technology and R&D. From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Laksono held various engineering design positions in ATI Technologies and worked on advanced technology, and systems architecture of ASICs. Mr. Laksono is inventor of over 100 worldwide and US patents primarily in video codecs and streaming. Mr. Laksono holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from University of Toronto.
