Paula Castillo

Paula Castillo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Paula started their career as a Programador Delphi at Polícia Rodoviária Federal in 2003 and then moved on to work as a Desenvolvedor de software at Decision Warehouse in 2004. In 2005, they joined Cyclops - UFSC as an Analista de requisitos and also took on the role of Desenvolvedor de software. Paula continued working at Cyclops - UFSC until 2008, gaining experience in requirements analysis and software development for hospital management systems.

After that, Paula joined Unimed Grande Florianópolis as an Analista de requisitos, where they worked on gathering requirements and analyzing existing and new hospital systems. In 2011, they transitioned to Nexxera, where they took on the role of Product Owner and continued until 2014, overseeing product development. Paula'smost recent position is at Pixeon, where they hold the title of Senior Product Owner since 2014.

Paula Castillo completed their education by obtaining a Mestrado em Tecnologia da Informação (Master's Degree in Information Technology) specializing in Informática na Saúde (Health Informatics) from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Paula attended this program from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2005, Paula Castillo completed their Bacharelado (Bachelor's Degree) in Gestão de Sistemas de Informação (Information Systems Management) also from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. In addition, Paula Castillo holds a certification in CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in June 2020.
