Charles Crain

Charles Crain is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in blockchain development and software engineering. As the Chief Technology Officer at SuperRare since May 2018, Charles is focused on creating tools that empower artists, innovators, and collectors in the decentralized world. Prior to this role, Charles worked as a Blockchain Engineer at BlockApps, where key contributions included the implementation of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and various consensus algorithms. Additional roles include independent consulting on an image tagging application, software engineering at Artnet, and full-stack development internships. Charles holds a degree in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, where foundational skills in network infrastructure and 3D printing technology were developed.
