Verónica Muñoz Ramírez has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research and engineering. Verónica is currently working as a Clinical Research Specialist at Pixyl since 2021. Prior to this, they were employed as a Research Associate at Université Grenoble Alpes from 2017 to 2021. Their responsibilities included conducting research on Parkinson's Disease signatures in multiparametric MRI data, acquiring and pre-processing MR images, developing image analysis pipelines, deploying code on calculation grids and remote machines, and disseminating results through presentations and scientific reports. Verónica also served as an Applied Mathematics Professor at Université Grenoble Alpes from 2018 to 2020. Verónica has prior experience as a Research Engineer at Laboratoire CREATIS CNRS, where they worked on a thesis project related to the treatment of gyrification measures for the study of epilepsy. Verónica also completed a research internship at TU/e Eindhoven University of Technology, where they developed an ultrasound image fusion and compounding technique for improved functional imaging of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Additionally, Verónica gained valuable experience as a Biomedical Engineer intern at Hôpital de la Conception, where they gained insight into the hospital structure and expanded their knowledge of medical equipment.

Verónica Muñoz Ramírez completed high school in 2012 at the Universidad de Monterrey, where they studied sciences physiques. Verónica then attended Polytech Marseille from 2012 to 2017 and earned a Diplome d'ingenieur in biomedical engineering. Lastly, Verónica pursued their higher education at the Université Grenoble Alpes from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of neuroimaging, machine learning, MRI, and Parkinson's Disease.
