Taras Malyshev

Taras Malyshev, ACCA has extensive work experience in finance and strategy roles. Taras currently works as the Head of New Business Innovation at Pizza Hut. Previously, they held the position of Strategy Finance Manager North America at Mondelēz International, where they provided financial support for strategic projects and evaluated business cases. Taras also served as the Plant Finance Lead at Mondelēz, overseeing financial operations and implementing lean 6 sigma and agile concepts. Prior to that, Taras worked as a Finance Manager Sales and Head of Financial Control (Plant Controller) at Mondelēz, where they focused on waste management strategies and developed tools and processes for waste analysis. Taras also has experience in strategic consulting through pro bono work, where they helped develop strategies for manufacturing enterprises. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Fortum and Severstal, where they gained experience in business planning, controlling, and IFRS reporting. Taras started their career at the Military Joint Financial Unit, where they held roles as Deputy Chief and Head of the Fixed assets and inventory accounting department.

Taras Malyshev, ACCA, has a diverse educational background. Taras completed their Specialist degree in Language Interpretation and Translation at the Military Academy of Finance and Economics from 2003 to 2008. Taras then pursued another Specialist degree in Law at the Moscow Finance and Law Academy (MFUA) from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Taras obtained several qualifications related to accounting and business, including F1-F9 and P1-P5, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA in 2019. Taras also holds various professional certifications in areas such as franchise management, business fundamentals, leadership, pricing, and marketing. Taras continues to enhance their skills through additional training and certifications.
