Neil Russell

Neil started at PJ Care in 2001, working alongside his mum, Jan Flawn CBE, helping to develop the company into the UK’s leading high-quality specialist neurological care provider. At one time or another Neil has worked in every role in the company, mopping floors and providing personal care to residents as well as developing the HR and financial systems that keep the company at the cutting edge of care provision.

Before joining the company, Neil spent 12 years in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, serving overseas in Abu Dhabi, Brasilia and Warsaw. As Chairman Neil is responsible for the company’s strategy and forward planning, and he takes the lead in all new developments including new builds as well as the ground-breaking RICO software system and many other innovative and award-winning projects.

Neil has taken over from Jan as the driving force behind PJ Care and is leading the company in its push for greater quality in all areas of care provision.
