John Myatt

John Myatt is an accomplished Associate Director at PJA, where responsibilities include delivering projects and providing strategic advice in the public sector for various clients since April 2021. With a robust background in transport planning, John has successfully led numerous public sector transport and development initiatives, including local authority capital programmes and transport strategies. Prior experience includes roles at Birmingham City Council, where John advanced from Principal Transportation Officer to Transport Planning and Investment Manager, and at Staffordshire County Council as Connectivity Strategy Officer. Earlier career positions included Senior Transport Planner and Assistant Regeneration Officer at Walsall Council. John holds an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering from Edinburgh Napier (2009-2012) and a BA (Hons) in Geography and Economics from Lancaster University (2004-2007).
