Phil Jones is the Founder and Chairman of PJA, a transport planning, engineering, and placemaking consultancy, since May 2003. In addition to this role, Phil serves as a Director at The London Collective and has been involved with various organizations, including Design West as a Member and Expert, and the Design Council as an Expert since 2012. Phil is also a Panel Member for the Northern Ireland Ministerial Advisory Group for Architecture and the Built Environment and a Design Review Panel Member for Design: Midlands. Phil's recent roles include Non Executive Director at Active Travel England and Technical Advisor to the West Midlands Mayor's Cycling & Walking Commissioner. Phil has a BSc Hons in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey, earned between 1976 and 1980.
