Chad Hutchinson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience design and management. Currently serving as a Senior Lead UX Strategist at PJM Interconnection since September 2007, Chad focuses on designing critical workflow-based applications for a 24/7 dispatch control room environment, emphasizing user-centered design to enhance situational awareness. Previous roles include President of Progressive Arts, Inc., where Chad promoted live progressive music and founded NEARfest Records, and Co-Founder and Director of Operations for the North East Art Rock Festival, a successful music festival. Chad also held positions at Siemens Health Services as a User Interface Analyst and at VerticalNet, Inc. as a Lead UI Designer, in addition to earlier roles in web design and quality engineering. Chad's educational background includes a BChE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, an MBA from Lehigh University, and a Digital Design Diploma from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
