Foluso Afelumo

Foluso Afelumo has extensive work experience in the field of application and data solutions. They started their career at PJM Interconnection as an Application Developer in October 2009, where they focused on building n-tier applications using Java, .NET, and Python. From January 2016 to April 2018, they served as the Manager of Development Operations, responsible for overseeing development activities and operations. They then advanced to the position of Manager of Development and Data Operations from April 2018 to January 2020. In October 2019, they took on the role of Director of Application Development Services, managing application development activities and the IT capital project portfolio. Currently, since June 2022, Foluso Afelumo is serving as the Director of Application and Data Solutions at PJM Interconnection. Before their time at PJM Interconnection, they briefly worked as a Co-Op from September 2006 to March 2007. Additionally, in 2009, Foluso Afelumo held the position of Chief Learning Officer at Folusoft.

Foluso Afelumo's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Drexel University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they pursued studies in Physics at Lincoln University. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategic Management and Analytics from Villanova University.

Furthermore, Foluso Afelumo acquired additional certifications, including an Energy Executive Course from the University of Idaho, which they obtained in June 2023. They also completed an Advanced Cybersecurity Program through Stanford Online in May 2022.
