John Schadenfroh

John Schadenfroh has extensive experience in the energy and power generation sectors, currently serving as a Master Dispatcher at PJM Interconnection since November 2020, following roles as a Generation Dispatcher and Master Coordinator. Prior experience includes positions as a Switching Dispatcher and Apprentice Switching Dispatcher at Duquesne Light Company from May 2018 to November 2020, and as a GUP Water Operator/Relief Water Department Supervisor at NRG Energy from July 2012 to April 2018. Additional internships and training with Exelon Nuclear, GenOn Energy, and Penn State University provided practical knowledge in reactor services, operations, and maintenance. John Schadenfroh holds a Specialized Associates Degree in Power Plant Technologies from Williamson College of the Trades and has foundational education from the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center.
