Nicole Bugay is a seasoned engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer in System Planning Modeling & Support at PJM Interconnection since June 2017, having also held the role of Engineer in the same department. Prior experience includes a position as a Microgrid REU Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where contributions involved developing an AC power monitoring system and modifying circuit schematics, as well as participating in research at FIU as a NSF REU Research Assistant. Nicole has a strong academic background with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida International University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Energy Policy and Climate from The Johns Hopkins University.
