Allison Bennington

Allison Bennington currently serves as a Partner at PJT Partners, leading the Global Head of ESG Transition Advisory and chairing the Activist Defense practice since August 2020. In addition to this role, Allison is an Advisory Board Member for the Business in Society Institute at Berkeley Law and the Berkeley Center for Law and Business. Previous experience includes membership on the Investor Advisory Committee at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 2017 to 2021 and various leadership positions at ValueAct Capital, including Partner, Chief Global Affairs Officer, and Chief Legal Officer until March 2020. Additional advisory roles were held with the SASB Standards and New York University School of Law. Allison is also an esteemed former member of the Advisory Board for Harvard Law School's Program for Corporate Governance. Educational backgrounds include the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and the University of California, Berkeley.
