Jonathan Krotz has a diverse work experience in the fields of information security, technology risk management, and engineering. Jonathan currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Information Security and Technology Risk at PJT Partners, which they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Cyber Security and Information Risk Management at PJT Partners from June 2019 to January 2022. Before joining PJT Partners, Jonathan worked at Tech-Marine Business, Inc. (TMB) as a Principle System Security Advisor for the Navy Program Executive Office from May 2017 to June 2019. Jonathan also has experience at Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions as a Hardware Engineer, where they designed and managed security hardware solutions for commercial integrated networks and high-speed embedded computer systems for critical military applications from November 2015 to May 2017. Furthermore, they worked at Vista Research, Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer from October 2014 to October 2015. Jonathan also gained valuable experience at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) as a Senior Electrical Engineer and System Expert from December 2012 to November 2014, and as an Electrical Engineer from June 2010 to December 2012. Jonathan started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Rose-Hulman Ventures from May 2008 to September 2008.

Jonathan Krotz holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering - Systems Engineering level 2 from the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (RD&A) in July 2013, E.I.T. from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in July 2012, Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering – Systems Engineering level 1 from the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (RD&A) in January 2011, and a Security Clearance from the Department of Defense in August 2015.
