Emily Smikal

Emily Smikal, CPA has over 12 years of experience in the tax industry. Emily began their career with PKF Texas in 2008 as a Tax Intern. After completing their internship, they joined the company as a Tax Associate in 2009 and worked in that role until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Senior Tax Associate. In 2014, Emily was promoted to Tax Manager and held that position until 2017. Emily then became a Tax Senior Manager in 2018 and served in that capacity until 2020. Currently, Emily serves as the Tax Director at PKF Texas, a position they have held since 2021.

Emily Smikal, CPA holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Hamshire Fannett High School from 2000 to 2004. Emily also obtained additional certifications, including the title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 2010 and being a graduate of the Rainmaker Academy offered by The Rainmaker Companies in 2022.
