Katsuya Uenoyama

Katsuya Uenoyama, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at the Digital Agency of the Government of Japan since September 2023. Uenoyama is a member of the Young Global Leaders Class of 2020 with The Forum of Young Global Leaders from April 2020 to May 2024. As the Founder and CEO of PKSHA Technology from September 2012 to May 2024, Uenoyama has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership. Prior experience includes a role as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from April 2007 to September 2011. Uenoyama obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Tokyo, completing the degree in March 2012.
