Laura Bacci Montoya

Laura Bacci Montoya has extensive experience in finance and accounting, having worked in various senior roles throughout their career. Laura Bacci is currently employed at Place Exchange as the Senior Director of Finance, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance at the same company from December 2020 to December 2023.

Before joining Place Exchange, Laura worked at Intersection Co. as a Senior Finance Manager from May 2018 to December 2020, and as an Accounting Manager from September 2017 to May 2018. Laura Bacci also had a brief stint as the Head of Finance & Operations at Neverware in 2017.

Laura began their career at PwC as an Assurance Senior Associate from January 2011 to September 2013. Laura Bacci then worked as a Senior Accountant at Bayview Asset Management, LLC from September 2013 to December 2015. Prior to this, they gained experience as a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst at Karhoo in 2016.

In addition to their finance and accounting roles, Laura also worked as an English Language Instructor at Babelia Formación in 2008.

Laura Bacci Montoya has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Central Florida, which they earned from 2004 to 2008. Laura Bacci then pursued an MBA in International Business from the Florida International University - College of Business from 2009 to 2010. In addition, Laura has also completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification program and obtained the Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor certification. Laura Bacci also briefly studied Marketing and Mandarin at Qingdao University in 2010.
