Placely is a social mapping and information service for travelers. Placely is also great for groups, such as alumni clubs, office organizations or recreational clubs, to track the whereabouts and travel destinations of large sets of people. The Company launched its beta service in November 2007.Similar companies, if no competitors, include Dopplr.
