Gil Rubin

Gil Rubin is the VP of Product Ingestion at Placer.ai. Prior to joining Placer.ai, Gil served as the VP of Engineering at Varonis from June 2017 to January 2019. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at Varonis from January 2015 to June 2017. Gil also has experience as an R&D SW Group Manager at Radcom from May 2011 to January 2015 and as a Manager, Software Engineering at Broadcom from June 2004 to May 2011. Gil began their career as a Software Engineer at Intel Israel from February 2002 to May 2004. From January 1993 to December 1999, Gil served as a Naval Officer (Major) in the Israeli Navy.

Gil Rubin studied computer science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and then went on to earn their MBA with a major in finance from Tel Aviv University.
