Laurent Javois

Laurent Javois is a seasoned Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant at LJ Transformation Initiatives, a role held since 2022, where responsibility includes leading a statewide employee alliance to develop and implement the equity and inclusion plan for the Missouri Department of Health, impacting 6,000 employees. Previously, Laurent served over two decades at the Missouri Department of Mental Health, culminating as Regional Executive Officer, where leadership responsibilities were expanded across three Joint Commission accredited inpatient psychiatric hospitals. Earlier positions included Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Director of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services, where Laurent played a pivotal role in integrating psychiatric facilities and enhancing statewide service delivery. Laurent holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of the Virgin Islands.
