Karen Halford Fcipd

Karen Halford FCIPD has extensive work experience in various senior HR roles. Karen is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Places for People since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at HomeServe as a People Director from April 2016 to March 2023. Karen also held the same role at Santia Group of Companies from February 2011 to April 2016. Before joining Santia, Karen was the HR Director at Connaught PLC from April 2010 to February 2011. Karen started their career at Vodafone, where they held multiple roles including Head of HR Service Operations - Global & UK from March 2008 to April 2010, Head of Resourcing & Development Centre of Expertise from November 2006 to March 2008, and Head of HR - Consumer Business Unit from August 2004 to October 2006.

Karen Halford FCIPD has a strong education background in the field of human resources and management. Karen obtained their MSc HRD in Human Resource Development from the University of Wolverhampton from 1994 to 1996. Karen continued their education at the same university and earned an MBA from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, Karen completed their CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) in Personnel & Training Management at the University of Worcester from 1990 to 1992.
