Marta O'Brien CSci is a Research Scientist at the University of Reading since December 2018, contributing to the CALMER project focused on air quality and community awareness. Marta has extensive experience in air quality research, including a PhD study that aims to understand the health impacts of air pollution and promote behavioral changes. Prior roles include Senior Analyst at SOCOTEC, where project supervision and environmental sample analysis were key responsibilities, and Senior Scientist at i2 Analytical, specializing in environmental analysis. Additionally, Marta serves as a Group Fitness Instructor for Places Leisure, teaching yoga-based classes. Academic qualifications include ongoing PhD studies at the University of Reading, a Master of Science in Environmental Protection, and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Recreation from Bialystok University of Technology.
