Ian Gilder

Ian Gilder has extensive work experience in finance and management roles.

Ian started their career at Dairy Crest in 2003, where they worked as a Site Management Accountant and later as a Finance Logistics Manager. In these roles, they managed the financial forecast for milk costs and played a key role in cultural change and cost initiatives.

After their time at Dairy Crest, Ian worked at Ark Home Healthcare as a Finance Manager, overseeing the financial performance of the domiciliary care division.

Ian then joined Greencore as a Senior Finance Business Partner, responsible for managing the financial performance of two southern sites.

Ian then moved to United Biscuits, where they worked as a Financial Controller. In this role, they provided key insight into project viability, presented business case proposals, and identified opportunities to reduce cost.

Currently, Ian is employed at pladis Global, where they have held various positions. Ian started as a Senior Finance Business Partner, and later became the Head of Supply Chain Finance. In their current role as Global Finance Director - New Markets, Ian assumes overall responsibility for financial performance, delivers strategic insight, and attends board meetings.

Ian Gilder has a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from ACCA. Ian also has a membership with Mensa High IQ Society.
