Sara Castilho

Sara Castilho is an experienced professional in packaging innovation and development, currently serving as the Packaging Innovation Manager and Seasonal Lead at pladis Global since October 2017. Previously held positions include Packaging Development Manager at pladis Global, R&D Packaging at Coty, and Researcher at Procter & Gamble. Sara's expertise also encompasses material and process development, demonstrated through a role as a KTP Associate at Plymouth University in collaboration with Crumb Rubber Ltd., focusing on sustainable manufacturing processes and novel composite materials. Additional research experience includes projects on CO2 capture and zeolite evaluation at various institutes. Sara holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon.
